So just a quick update on the Empire rooks.
A big bag of 60mm square bases arrived the other day so I decided I might as well get on to finishing the base for the first rook. I glued a large slab on the polystyrene to one of the bases and carved out a sort of cliffy hill thing to mount the ruined tower on.
The pics show where I’m up to at the moment. Next step will be wooden floorboards inside the tower and then some other minor details before it’s ready for the models. More work will go into the base before painting, including adding turf, gravel, rocks etc
Next post should be when some of the new models will have arrived, including some awesome Knights!!!
